About the founder.

Marshall Brondum was born in Coleharbor, North Dakota in 1916, but grew up and lived most of his life in the Blackfoot Valley and Missoula, MT. He was blinded by an accident at age ten. He earned his living as a farmer, musician, and radio and television repairman. In the 1950s, Marshall acquired a small television cable company. Marshall and his wife, Mary, eventually built the company into a sizeable Western Montana cable service, and in 1980 formed Marshall TV Cable Company. Mary Brondum died in 1982. In 1988, Marshall sold the cable company and retired. He died in 1992. Always generous in nature to those in need, he set aside a substantial amount of his assets and estate to fund the Foundation.
